We hope your semesters and/or falls are off to a grand start!
We are pleased to announce that the Caucus-sponsored art conference “Intersexions: Queer Visual Culture at the Crossroads” is now officially scheduled for November 12-13, 2004, at the CUNY Graduate Center, NYC. So please mark your calendars! The organizing committee is hard at work. Stay tuned for the call for papers and panels, which should reach you in October 2003 (proposals due by the end of the year).
This year’s CAA-Seattle is chock full of fun queer events also, from panels and receptions to exhibitions. See more details in the next column and in the January 2004 issue of the newsletter. We hope to see as many of you in Seattle as possible.
Cheers,
Maura and Jim
